Oticon has introduced a wireless stereophonic hearing aid Oticon Epoq for people with hearing loss. The solution contains two devices, which enable data transfer speeds 100 faster than any hearing instruments on the market now. Thus the users can get voice or other sound in real-time with a user’s visual info.
Besides the Epoq comes with the Streamer, a compact device, which allows it to become a hands-free Bluetooth intelligent headset to be used with mobile phones and other devices. Once the Streamer is paired to a Bluetooth cellphone, the user presses a button on the Streamer to receive incoming calls through the hearing instruments. Oticon Epoq will be available worldwide early in June.

Pantech Group, the leading Korean handset manufacturer, today has announced the launch of the IM-R200 handset, the latest dual-LCD sliding phone equipped with an OLED touch-sensitive screen. Separated from its main LCD display, the new phone does away with the standard keypad in favor of a brand-new LCD-typed keypad.
